At some point there will be enough reused gift bags in circulation that no one will buy new ones, collapsing the gift bag industry and driving up the value of existing gift bags to the point that they start being given as the gifts themselves. But those will need to be put in something when given as gifts, so gift bags will be gifted in less attractive gift bags.

There appears to be a Gemini competitor called Spartan that is mostly the same but without TLS. Maybe now I can write a System 6 app for one of these things.

So I successfully rebuilt the battery in my ThinkPad 240. It only gets about an hour and a half with normal usage and I thought that seemed really low so something must be wrong, but that's what reviewers were getting back when these were new 🙃

Google's "Sign in with Google" Javascript has started showing this big dialog as soon as the page loads, on at least Twitter and eBay. On Twitter's website it covers up the "Sign up with Apple" and regular email signup buttons. Seems kinda... anti-competitive?
