@jcs Barrier or a fork of it?
@jcs
Ok this is very neat! Can I enquire about the theme and font used in the first terminal? It looks like Win3.1
@magnetic_tape@infosec.exchange sure, it's progman, my X11 window manager - https://github.com/jcs/progman
@jcs I was looking at the video focusing on the text windows and thinking “ok what’s so special about this” and then “whoa. WHOA!” 😂
Awesome work! Feature request: ADB? 😃
@jcs oh that’s very very cool
@jcs amazing! 🤩 this is really impressive, i love that the mac doesn't have to have any idea it's happening 🏆
A minimal client running on the Pico 2W connects to the Deskflow server on my ThinkPad to access its mouse and keyboard, and translates the input into mouse and keyboard protocols the Plus expects through its DE-9 and 4P4C connectors
I thought about doing the Deskflow client directly in MacTCP running on the Plus, but I so frequently need working input when the system is misbehaving or under heavy load that relying on MacTCP for input would be unreliable
@jcs This is so cool. I love that it doesn't require any additional software on the classic Mac to work.
@paulrickards@mastodon.social It loses the clipboard synchronization between computers which would have been nice, but this is a start
@jcs Wonder if there's a hybrid way to keep the hardware mouse/keyboard connection but add a small MacTCP client for just clipboard synchronization to/from the Pico?
@jcs 🤯 i want one. 😂
@jcs i had a usb kvm + wombat + drakeware(to use AEKII) so i could switch between modern/Q700 - it never worked great but did work. I now just have a small ADB kb on the desk but it still takes up a lot of room. I like this concept!
@jcs Synergy? Or something else?
