OpenBSD on the Pomera DM250(XY)
@jcs Really intriguing ... until I saw the price :(
@Bebef@mastodon.social The regular Japanese-market non-XY DM250 model can usually be had for like $250-$300 USD
@jcs Yeah, that's the point. That's what I've paid for my GPD Pocket and I think it's a better value for what you get.
If it was below a hundred, that'd be a whole other story. :)
@jcs Awesome, man! I was afraid you had given up.
@jcs oooo, cute hardware! π
@jcs Neat. I recall reading about your frustrating attempts to get it working.
I still have the king jim portabook. OpenBSD lacks sdio attachment for rtwn for the built-in WiFi. And S3 suspend is broken with rootfs on sdmmc. Apart from that it is fully working by now.
@stsp@bsd.network I was really impressed bwfm at sdio just magically worked once I copied over the nvram text file and put its power-on GPIOs in the DTB
The Broadcom Bluetooth on it just presents as a UART over sdio so I have some... ideas
@jcs Wow that's really thin! Love the color too.
