Notes
This is super cool, another neat project from @jcs where he does porting dev cycles on hardware that can brick itself if you mess up and be frustrating to recover, but he is a cyberpal to you and me, providing these neat views into how wizards work!
Ted Fried, aka MicroCore Labs, is back with another Teensy-based drop-in CPU emulator, this time for the 16/32-bit Motorola 68000, as seen here running on an original Macintosh 512K motherboard
I found the perfect USB-C charger for the Pomera DM250XY
Is it wednesday already? Then it's time for the next parts of the #OpenBSD/m88k story.
In these parts, m88k systems get to finally enjoy ELF binaries with shared libraries, hardware support improves, and luna88k gets the best bootloader, ever.
oh cool, the scumbag CEO of stickermule is using the company's (former) customer list to spam his political junk
the unsubscribe link even goes to a stickermule\.com URL
just a reminder that stickermule sucks
Miami airport has these chimes constantly playing which are coming from these autonomous wheelchairs that ride around not carrying anyone?
68k Mac people: I assembled most of the components to build 5 MiniPerformer+ boards (PCB, 68EC030 w/socket, 68882 w/socket, PLCCs, etc.) but I'm lazy
Is anyone interested in buying all of these parts at a discount on the condition you build one for me, and you can keep/sell the rest?
look at this frickin thing
Indie app developers: do you localize your app's strings and if so, what service do you use for translation? They all seem to be using AI or are $999/month.
Also, have you found that having a localized app causes users to expect/demand support in those languages?
OpenBSD on the Pomera DM250(XY)
For #marchintosh I finally put my Macintosh away
I just realized I've committed changes to both /bin and /sbin this week
> Once the telnet connection opens, /bin/login tries to print the localized prompt but gettext [..] calls iconv_open() to parse the gconv-modules file in the directory referenced by the injected path before loading the shared object that turns cash ($) to trash (#).

Claude taking a month to port a Linux driver was easier than just porting the OpenBSD driver patrick@ wrote like a decade ago?
