About how long does the fash take with a bus pirate? I've heard it's slow.
Like a half hour for the read/write/verify cycle... very slow even at 8Mhz
Any reasons ad to why you're not using a raspberry pi?
Laziness? I had the Bus Pirate in my drawer and it already had the SOIC8 clip on it with all the wiring setup from back when I was playing with my Chromebook. I ordered a cheap CH341A programmer yesterday though.
@vermaden Story of my life...
what system is the one on the left?
do you use it often? the slim bezel makes it very attractive, as well as being fanless. by the way what window manager is that? thank you for the link
Yes it's been my primary OpenBSD computer for about a year. The WM is ratpoison.
Ah wonderful. I see ratpoison in the article's pictures, is it also rat poison in the twitter picture? It looked like something else so I thought I'd ask (:
Oh in the picture on this thread it's booted to a Linux USB stick because I need it to compile coreboot. It's running whatever junk Ubuntu comes with by default.
It did seem off brand!
@jcs It’s Gnome, clock in the top centre is a dead giveaway. Thought it was a MacBook at first glance, but knew it couldn’t be.
@_sid77 X 210 or 201?
@_sid77 51nb's X210 board (in an X201 chassis)
@_sid77 You mean a Lenovo ThinkPad X201 chasis, but what’s the X210 here?
@_sid77 Okay, that sounds fishy but I’ll look it up;)
