Sweet! You using the ancient port or working with newer stuff?

The port, updated to 1.8.4 (no GUI), though the avr/g++ port is pretty old and can't compile a lot of newer C++ code I've found. The skeleton Makefile from the arduino could use an update to work with newer libraries.

Nice. I wanted to look into updating that. No time, yet. Using the Arduino code for ESP8266s just makes it too easy and I hoped to get that working! Good work. Glad to hear it can be done. I saw there was some effort back in 1.6, but that looks like it got dropped.

What hardware are you running OpenBSD on?

I know know what my next laptop will be. I'm still using a Dell M1210. It's over 11 years old. I swap drives between Ubuntu and OpenBSD. I'm still quite terrible at it but I'm really digging it

Damn I'd love to have one of these...

The arduino port could do with an update. It's been on my list for some time.
