did 10.6.2 update and wifi, battery, and other system icons won't show up in menu bar. doing full restore from time machine now...

Same issue here with 10.6.2 menu icons. Trying combo updater now.

Aha! Yes I did, is that was causes this? I'm hitting Google to remember how I did that... see if I can reverse it.
