replaced leaking water pump. installed a new serpentine belt while i was in there.
had 3 toyo t1r tires swapped from the bbs ch wheels plus 1 new one onto the ssr competition wheels. the toyo ra1 tires have finally been laid to rest.
installed new ngk laser iridium (izkr7b7563) spark plugs.

replaced all three wiper blades. for future reference, the front wipers on the r32 are "euro" style and the aftermarket blades for the regular golf/gti are not compatible.
removed bbs ch wheels and toyo t1-r tires, installed winter setup with oz aristo wheels and dunlop wintersport tires.
removed vdo oil temperature gauge and moved headlight switch back up where it normally is.
the toyo ra1 tires had finally been worn down enough that they were a bit sketchy in even small amounts of rain, and the inside of the front drivers side tire had worn down to the cords.
swapped them out for my old set of bbs ch wheels with toyo t1r tires which have plenty of tread left.
also replaced cabin air filter.
removed front stoptech calipers and rotors and hawk pads, replaced factory calipers and rotors with pbr pads. flushed in new brake fluid.
passed emissions test. for some reason they couldn't communicate with the ecu through the obdII port so i had to do a sniffer test at idle.
removed winter wheel setup and reinstalled ssr competitions with toyo ra1 tires. inspected brakes.
oil and filter change. had brake light switch recall service done.
finally removed the ssr competition wheels with toyo ra1 tires on them and put on the oz aristos with dunlop wintersport tires. removed front passenger side sparco milano seat and put in the stock koenig seat (with heat and airbag, you know). reinstalled rear seats and side interior pieces.
replaced battery that wouldn't hold a charge.
removed rollbar, camera mount, and harnesses since i will no longer be tracking the r32.
removed camber plates and put winter wheels on for impending snow.
participated in the 2007 audi chicago 3-tracks-in-3-days event at the 3 tracks of the autobahn country club in joliet, illinois.
performed full flush and bleed of brakes and clutch with motul 600.
got the car re-aligned after taking everything apart. dialed in -2.2 degrees of camber and 0 toe in the front, -1 degree of camber and 0.1 degree of toe in the rear.
installed ground control front camber/caster plates and mcpi/streetwerke/powerflex front control arm bushings (with oem replacement rear bushings for the front control arms).
after bringing in my car on 2006-11-20 to have another faulty o2 sensor (bank 1, sensor 2) replaced, i was told the part was not in stock and i would have to bring the car back. i did so on 2006-12-11 once the part had arrived and waited what was supposed to be an hour and a half for the sensor to be replaced. after 3 hours, i was told that the sensor had been replaced but the fault was still there, so they had to swap out the wiring. i was given a loaner car and then told that after the wiring had been replaced, the fault was still there, so the second rear o2 sensor would also be replaced, which again, was not in stock. everything was finally fixed and working again on 2006-12-13.

removed track wheels and hawk ht-10 pads, re-adjusted suspension back down to where it was before road america, and replaced axxis ultimate front pads with new hawk hps pads.

picked up a set of ssr competition 18x8" wheels from a vwvortex member in indiana, which had nitto extreme tires mounted to them. i ordered toyo ra1 tires in 245/40-18 and had them mounted to the ssr's which will be used as my track wheels.

removed catalytic converter and installed a supersprint y-pipe. the supersprint pipe comes shorter than the cat for some reason, so an extension had to be welded on to mate with the rest of the exhaust. the eip cat-back exhaust was removed due to the excessive noise when combined with the test-pipe.
installed (another) autopower "race" 4-point roll-bar.
removed b&m shifter and re-installed stock shifter.
installed new vdo oil temperature gauge.
installed a new set of oem xenon's and a blackforest stubby antenna.

removed driver's side front seat and re-installed sparco milano seat (only had one resistor left, so i have to order another one to do the passenger seat). removed rear seats, hatch deck, and tools. hooked up hardwired v1 cables again.
performed oil and filter change with 5¾ quarts of 0w-40 mobil 1 supersyn and an oem filter.
removed xenon setup (housings, balasts, wiring harnesses) and re-installed oem halogen lights. removed oil temperature gauge, replaced euro light switch with factory switch and moved it back into its normal location. installed new vent and surround piece.
removed sparco gas pedal cover, re-installed oem pedal cover. removed remote v1 display, tucked v1 hardwire cables away.
removed sparco seats, re-installed original koenig front seats (they still smell and look brand new!), rear seats, rear interior side panels, hatch deck, center console, and shift boot. removed oz aristo wheels and spacers that were on for winter and reinstalled bbs ch wheels.
removed autopower roll bar, i/o port video camera mount, and sparco harnesses.
an o2 sensor (bank 2, sensor 1) wire melted to the downpipe, causing a check engine light. the sensor was replaced under warranty at the autobarn in mount prospect.
had haldex oil and filter changed, as well as the power steering fluid topped off.
installed eip competition series cat-back exhaust.
installed h&r 8mm spacers in the front (and rear, just for uniformity) to allow the oem oz aristo wheels with snow tires to fit over the stoptech calipers.

installed hawk hp plus rear brake pads. stock pads still had half of the pad material left.

installed ecs 2mm wheel spacers on the front wheels to give additional clearance between the wheel spokes and caliper face during maximum heat expansion and flex, as well as between the inner edge of the rim and the strut body. although i have not experienced any clearance issues in the ~4000 miles since installing the stoptech brake kit with the current wheels and suspension, the spacers give the 2mm of clearance recommended by stoptech without negatively impacting the suspension/wheel setup.
performed 20,000 mile oil change and maintenance, including front-to-rear wheel rotation.

after the front driver's side stock goodyear f1 tire developed a bubble in the sidewall, i had a set of dunlop wintersport m2's installed on the aristo's early. new rims and tires will be coming next spring.

recoded instrument cluster with prodiag from 15230 to 13430 to disable annoying seatbelt warning (yes, i always wear my seatbelt) as well as the warning when the door is open with the key in. recoded central convenience module from 00064 to 00065 for one-click unlocking on the remote. toggled channels 3 and 4 in the adaptation for this module to auto-lock doors when the car moves and auto-unlock when the key is removed from the ignition. also hard-wired my valentine one with remote display that was pulled from my a4.
did the "exhaust flapper" mod and debadged front grille and rear hatch.
