imac hard drive vs. intel x25-m ssd

a new imac 21.5", quickly ripped open to install an intel x25m ssd drive in place of the dvd drive

then sold a few months later (after moving and not being able to return it) because of a bad screen that had a high-pitched noise while the screen brightness was anything other than all the way down or all the way up. i had it serviced twice at two different apple stores and they weren't able to fix it.
