megan dropped her iphone 3gs and shattered the glass. i felt bad for her since she only had it for 3 days so i fixed by replacing the glass, digitizer and lcd. the parts were bought on amazon for about $45. i ordered the glass and digitizer first, but after taking it apart i realized the lcd was busted (or maybe i broke it while taking it apart) as well.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mboB8p-sdw was pretty helpful in explaining everything. i think the hardest part was trying to press the assembled unit back together while keeping the rubber border around the screen in place. it kept trying to pop out in one corner or another, so i'd have to keep pulling the glass back out with the suction cup and try again.
