hello, friends. as you are probably aware (or have guessed from my recent pictures, or are completely oblivious to) i am moving to tucson, arizona next week. my girlfriend jeanne and i drove her stuff out there last month and then i flew back to put my house up for sale.
self-employment affords me the luxury of being able to work from anywhere and since it's currently 30 degrees and snowy here in crystal lake, i'm looking forward to moving somewhere that i can ride my biek every day of the year. i'm not looking forward to the summer (or that uh, skin cancer) but i'll cross that bridge when i come to it.
i've been packing up everything since i got back and will be loading up a moving truck this thursday. if all goes well, carl and i will be heading out friday morning, hopefully with my r32 in tow. i'm not sure whether it will even fit onto the trailer given its low ride height and 245/40-18 tires, but i'm hoping i can just prop up the ramps to decrease the load angle and not have to remove the front bumper. at least u-haul seems to be ok with that.
the m3 is staying here temporarily, though i'll probably end up selling both of the cars out there and buying another exige (but a supercharged one, in white). not having to deal with snow means i won't need an all-wheel drive car anymore and there are lots of roads out in the mountains to drive around on in something fun like an exige.
so i guess that's about it. so long, grass and snow.

What made you pick AZ?
i didn't, the girlfriend did. i don't really care where i live.
Gonna be amazing; Xmas in the desert.
Wow, and I was just checked to see if you still had your R32/Exige. Guess a lot more has changed. My girlfriend is from Tuscon and went to University of Arizona so let me know if you have any questions about the area. Good luck out there.
