woke up at 4:00 yesterday and got ready to fly to new york. i was expecting an hour of traffic and got to o'hare in 40 minutes, then walked right through security with practically no line at all.

i landed at laguardia airport at around 11:00 and took a cab to my customer's place in the bank of america building on madison avenue. i didn't get to see much along the way except for the insane traffic and my cab driver manuvering less than 2 inches around cars. i spent all day at the customer's place and had lunch downstairs in grand central terminal at caffe pepe rosso.

i left at about 15:00 and took a cab back to the airport. the plane was scheduled to depart at 19:25 but chicago was fogged in so we kept getting delayed until about 21:00, and even then we had to board the plane so they could leave the gate, but we had to sit on the runway for an hour before taking off. i fell asleep while waiting and then counted the number of holes in the grille for the overhead speaker. there are 112.

i finally got home at about 0:30 this morning and slept until noon. i guess i can say i've been to new york now but aside from being on the plane, in a taxi, and inside the building, i was only outside looking around for about 20 minutes.

Have you ever thought about releasing your notaweblog script? I noticed you linked to your code section in a previous entry but I didn't see the notaweblog script listed on that page.

i used to have it on my code page but the current incarnation is so tightly integrated into my site, i don't feel like abstracting it and conditionalizing everything again.
