went to the taste of chicago yesterday with dace and melfish. took the train and had to listen to all the screaming babies all the way down there.
i had two pieces of cheesecake, a corndog, and a beer. the corn dog was exquisite.
there's something wrong with my right-side hip; every time i have to walk for long periods of time it starts to hurt at the joint. it still hurts today, which is annoying.
nascar drivers on a road course, this is hysterical. these guys can't drive worth shit. go back to the oval, hillbillies.
wow, now there's some asshole commentator on speed spouting off about how he doesn't care about f1 and irl and that nascar is the best because they "have all the tv coverage, all the money, all the merchandise." then he said something to the effect of "i'm not worried about us gt or gp or whatever it's called. i know f1 is popular in other countries but this is america, we're the most powerful country on the planet." wow.
it's sad that speed spends half a day and three different shows covering this event because it's nascar, but if it was the same event on the same course but was with touring or gt cars, it would probably not even be televised, or if it was, it would be a highlight show or something.
